The committee voted to determine that the Middleborough Housing Authority application for window replacement on Woodland Avenue is not eligible for CPA funding, following guidance summarized from a Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) memo and a consultation with a MassHousing Partnership contact. The committee recorded the determination as a formal action and approved it.
The committee approved payment of invoices presented at the meeting, including reimbursement requests submitted by the Friends of Middleborough Cemeteries for recent stonework; the transcript indicates the cemetery group had submitted an invoice of “almost $16,000.” The motion to approve accounts payable passed unanimously.
Other substantive funding discussions — including a step-2 application for a proposed park at 48 Wareham Street and a step-2 application for fencing and improvements at the Wood Street ball field — were discussed but not decided; the committee deferred those funding votes to its February meeting.
