Moulton responded that veterans can count on his support. He emphasized his personal connection to the Department of Veterans Affairs, saying he continues to use VA health care and takes veterans’ concerns seriously.
He also noted that earlier in the day several federal programs, including “a bunch of programs at the VA,” were briefly cut and later restored. He said that uncertainty underscores the need for vigilance and for constituents to bring specific cases to his office.
Moulton asked veterans’ organizations to continue sharing their priority lists with his staff and said he would press for full funding and timely access to services where needed.
