Garrett County approves $2 million sale of McHenry Business Park lot to cannabis processor

The Board of Garrett County Commissioners on Nov. 4 adopted Resolution No. 2024-15 to authorize the sale of Lot 1 of McHenry Business Park (7.48 acres, election district 6) to Stash Properties LLC for $2,000,000.
The resolution clears the county to sell the property to a holding company whose operating business will be Cannabarons, with a second business under the same roof called Sprinkle LLC. Steve Kelly, director of community development, said the businesses are intended to operate as a cannabis processor — receiving grown product, processing it and wholesaling to dispensaries rather than operating a retail dispenser.
