The clerk/treasurer explained the ordinance adjusted three capital items that police and fire share 50/50 (dispatch door, Cisco internet upgrade and an HVAC compressor), appropriated $37,300 in donations for the Fountain City Amphitheater and made available $35,712 remaining in a probation grant that runs through June 30, 2025.
Council also approved a list of grant‑related resolutions that authorize city officials to apply for state and federal funds, including a resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to apply for grants and another authorizing the Parks & Recreation director to apply for a NatureWorks grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (intended for Lincoln Park work if successful).
