The council’s license committee reviewed multiple petitions and recommended approval for all of them. The full council then granted the petitions unanimously. The package included amusement-machine permits, class 2 used-car dealer renewals, extended-hour permits for Planet Fitness, multiple livery company and livery driver renewals, taxi cab renewals and other routine business licenses. On the library salary ordinance (Paper 32‑25) the clerk called the roll; each councilor voted yes and the chair declared the paper enrolled. On the $50,000 transfer (Paper 33‑25) the council adopted the order by unanimous roll call and the chair said the order had been adopted.
Councilor McDonald presented the transfer item and noted the appropriation covers the marginal cost of the contract that is retroactive to July 1. Councilor Cica presented the license committee report and confirmed compliance checks had found no issues; the committee recommended all petitions out unanimously.
