The committee approved a surplus-property disposition item on a voice vote. The panel also approved bids for three-year farm-use leases for 10 acres at Cascade High School and the Liberty School property; those lease approvals will be forwarded to the commission for final action.
A resolution to apply for a HOME grant administered by the South Central Tennessee Development District — a program that funds repairs or accessibility work for qualifying homeowners — was approved and will be sent to the commission to continue Bedford’s participation in the program.
