Pasco outlines 2025 State of the Schools review schedule; principals to present site improvement plans

Assistant Superintendent Global briefed the board on the 2025 State of the Schools review, describing the schedule, structure and goals for site presentations.

Global described improvements to the process after last year: instead of large slide decks, each school will produce a one‑page data summary (a single‑page “data one‑pager”) with a brief slide summary to make presentations more consumable for board members and staff. The district will replicate last year’s structure — individual site presentations plus four study sessions — but reduced group presentations from four schools to three to improve pacing. The timeline: planning began the previous June, school improvement plans were due in October, and schools are now in the “study and adjust” phase of the continuous improvement cycle.

Global asked board members to sign up for presentations and reiterated that the State of the Schools reviews are intended to be supportive, school‑led opportunities to observe school‑level strategies, data alignment and requests for board/district support.
