The Nampa Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend annexation and RS-8.5 zoning of a 0.38-acre county enclave at 7736 Birch Lane so the property can be developed with a single-family dwelling.
Applicant Joshua Roman said the parcel contains an existing house and the request is to bring the parcel into the city so a single-family home can be placed for a family member. Damian (staff) presented the staff report and said the proposal is consistent with the comprehensive plan’s medium-density residential designation, that services exist nearby and that staff received no correspondence opposing the annexation.
Commissioner Daffer moved and Commissioner Kirkman seconded a recommendation of approval with the conditions listed in the staff report and adoption of the findings of approval. The motion passed on a voice vote and will be forwarded to city council for final action.
