The Nampa Planning and Zoning Commission approved a short-plat replat for Mason Creek Drift that reconfigures nine parcels to enable detached single-family homes under the RS-6 zoning district.
Applicant Patrick McMonagle of Prestige Homes said the replat adjusts rear lot lines and side setbacks so each lot meets the minimum 6,000-square-foot lot-size requirement needed for detached homes. Christy Watkins, principal planner, told commissioners the replat is within the city limits, has city utilities available and that short plats are exempt from qualified open-space requirements.
Watkins said the smallest resulting lot is about 6,022 square feet; the largest is about 6,033 square feet and lot width/depth and installed landscaping meet code. Commissioner Kirkman moved and Commissioner Selman seconded approval; the motion passed on a voice vote and the replat was approved as presented.
