Tucker King, a member of the commission, said, "we had a great memo put up by the federal government, last night, that all federal grant funding will be suspended until further notice. So our tree grant is suspended until further notice." He told the commission the grant had "probably a little over $800,000 left remaining" and that the program is reimbursement-based.
