She linked those figures to previously discussed October–November 2024 budget-reduction strategies totaling roughly $4.5 million and said deeper transparency was needed about how the cuts would be implemented and what programs would be reviewed.
Bieber asked whether the district would target one-year contract positions or continuing-contract teachers and sought assurances about Title I compliance and protections for vulnerable students. She asked for full transparency about CTE fund utilization and suggested that the underutilization signaled mismanagement rather than unavoidable shortfalls.
Trustees did not act on the request during the meeting; the public commenter asked the board to provide more information about the CTE fund and program-review matrices.
