Concord committee hears update on Memorial Field project; phasing, turf and cost-sharing remain unresolved

The Concord School District City and Community Relations Committee received an update on the Memorial Field project and was told the next steps depend on an expected City Council discussion and on decisions about phasing, scope and cost-sharing.

Acting committee chair Liz Boucher, speaking for the committee, said board appointees have met with city staff and school leaders and that the project will move to the City Council agenda for further deliberation. "Our board has already had that discussion," Boucher said, noting that Jim Richards and Barb Higgins were appointed to meet with city council members on the topic.

Committee member Barb Higgins provided the operational details the committee has discussed.
