Boyertown Area SD board approves minutes, finance reports, job descriptions and calendar; multiple routine items carried

The Boyertown Area School District Board of Directors on Jan. 28 approved a slate of routine and substantive items, including meeting minutes, treasurer reports, personnel recommendations, two new IT job descriptions, an update to tax-collector compensation and the 2025–26 school-year calendar.

The board approved the committee-of-the-whole minutes from Jan. 14 and the special meeting finance minutes from Jan. 21, accepted the November and December 2024 treasurer reports, and approved several personnel actions listed on the agenda. The board also approved two new job descriptions in the district’s IT department — network and applications administrator and technology operations specialist — and voted to move incumbent staff into the reorganized roles with new pay ranges as presented by administration.
