The Winter Haven City Commission on Jan. 27 approved appointments to the city’s Grant and Aid Application Review Committee (GAARC).
Appointments: The commission reappointed Tina Summerlin, Abdul Al Khateeb, Alex Santiago and Melinda Callegritis to three-year terms beginning January 2025 and appointed Dr. Barbara Jones to replace Dr. Steve Negley, who declined to serve a second term. The appointments were described as three‑year terms running from January 2025.
