Jill Couser, chair of the Alton Friends of Parks and Recreation, asked the board to direct residents to a parks and recreation survey posted on the town’s news page.
“...there’s a survey. We’re trying to get as much information as we can of what the people that live and visit in Alton would like to see to improve the parks and recreation available in Alton,” Couser said, and asked the board to share the survey through the winter festival before the group compiles results and reports back to the Selectmen.
Couser thanked the board for posting the survey link on the town page and said the group will provide a report to the board after the outreach period ends.
The public‑comment item was placed on the record during the meeting’s public input portion; no formal board action was recorded on the presentation.
