Staff outlined next steps for community engagement and revision: gathering evidence and building a feedback cycle, reporting interim evidence in February, conducting community café sessions and Parent University input, and collecting board feedback through a CSIP survey distributed by email. The presenter asked board members to complete the survey and said principals’ accountability plans and school‑level CSIPs will be aligned to the district plan.
Board members praised the focus on student competencies and asked staff to keep the portrait‑of‑a‑graduate descriptors front‑and‑center for families and students so the competencies become the district’s “North Star.” The presenter said district teams will analyze community café feedback and propose next steps for the CSIP revision this spring.
