Mr. Holmes, a city staff member, told the council the item on page 17–18 of the agenda would be a tentative award to SAC Construction LLC for the Garner Road project, "This is a total of $3,370,859," he said. He also cited two joint funding agreements with the U.S. Geological Survey Water Resources Division — $13,575 for stream gauging on Cripps Mill Creek and $22,600 for work at Lake Tuscaloosa — and a minor public-works contract of $2,850 with American Fence Company for gate repairs on 22nd Street.
