The Planning Board on Jan. 21 acknowledged that the applicant for a conceptual proposal at 381 D.W. Highway withdrew the submission and the board voted to table the item indefinitely.
The proposal described on the agenda included a subdivision of the parcel, construction of a three-unit “barndominium,” a two-unit building on an existing house lot and a proposed 48-unit elderly multifamily workforce housing building on a new lot. The applicant asked to withdraw the conceptual discussion and the board accepted that request; a motion to table the item indefinitely carried by voice vote.
Because the applicant withdrew the concept, no substantive review or findings were made and no public hearing or further board action was required at the Jan. 21 meeting. The item may be refiled in a future meeting if the applicant chooses to pursue the project.
