The Lynn Haven Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) on Wednesday approved a budget amendment to advance engineering expenses for the Tennessee Avenue sidewalk project and added $25,100 to office supplies for a new computer, CRA staff said. The board also approved two storefront assistance program applications on the consent agenda.
Staff member Jean Coutu told the CRA the Tennessee Avenue sidewalk project is “100% funded by the DOT Transportation Alternative Grant,” but said the agency must pay the engineering firm up front in order to request reimbursement. “So we added this — we’re requesting to add this to the current budget and also, adding $25,100 to the office supplies so that I can get a new computer,” Coutu said.
