The roll call recorded Commissioner Caudill: yes; Commissioner Peake: yes; Mayor Atkins: no; Commissioner Jenny Holland: yes; Commissioner Sarris: yes. The commission asked staff to consider options such as scheduling separate, public-input-focused sessions at times that would better accommodate community participation if specific items warrant it.
Commissioners and staff agreed to revisit the question if attendance patterns or operational needs change, and staff said they would help publicize scheduling changes if the commission approves alternate or special meetings in the future.
