BARGERSVILLE, Ind. — The Bargersville Town Council approved a set of routine and operational items at its Jan. 28 meeting, including minutes from a prior meeting, two development bonds, a utility easement tied to a meter pit, and the town's annual on‑call engineering task order.
Council members voted unanimously to approve the Jan. 14, 2025 meeting minutes and to accept two maintenance/performance bonds tied to local development projects. Minutes approval was moved and seconded during roll call and passed by voice vote.
The council also approved an easement agreement with a local property owner that the town will supplement by supplying and installing a meter pit. Town staff described the meter pit and installation value at about $4,000 during the discussion. A formal motion to approve the easement "as is with the town giving a meter pit and installation as a part of the easement agreement" passed after a second.
Separately, the council approved the annual on‑call professional services task order with Wessler Engineering for 2025, a recurring engagement the town uses for plan review and other engineering support. Councilors were told the item is an annual task order under an existing master services arrangement.
Council members also registered consensus approval for the town's 2025 sponsorship package, which staff said will allow the town to begin assigning sponsorship opportunities to community partners.
All votes recorded during the formal council session were unanimous for the listed items, with no recorded no votes or abstentions.
