BOE reports hiring progress and budget shifts; personnel costs remain majority of spending

She also noted that, to date, no further reductions have been proposed in the governor’s 2025–26 budget for BOE.
Board members commended staff recruitment work and said they look forward to continued progress on filling vacancies.
