"Planning to have this complex exit onto North Third and North Fourth is inconceivable," said Cathy Matthew, a North Renton resident who spoke during audience comment at the council meeting. She told the council that traffic is already heavy on North Third and North Fourth between about 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and said the project would pose risks to children walking to nearby Satori School.
Mark Bivos, another North Renton resident, said his understanding is that "it's going to be a 100 unit building with light retail in the bottom" and that "as proposed it's going to have 1 parking space per unit," which he said will likely cause spillover parking into existing neighborhood streets.
