Otis’ general warranty period was stated during discussion as one year; the court noted vendors may offer extended warranties or different insurance profiles that affect total cost and risk.
No vote was taken; the judge said he was providing the information to be transparent and would negotiate under the existing contract. He said departments will not be moved into the building’s second, third and fourth floors until elevators are fully operable.
