BROOKFIELD, Ill. — The Village of Brookfield held the required public hearing on its 2025 Appropriations Ordinance and approved a $3,946,999.73 corporate warrant at the board meeting on Monday, Jan. 27.
Doug Cooper, finance director, presented the Appropriations Ordinance during the public hearing and said, "State law does require the adoption of an Appropriations Ordinance for the village. Spending authority of The Village. We're required to file it with the county."
