Administrators described the human role in reducing false positives and said infrequent use does not degrade the system so long as software updates are applied before operation.
Community considerations: committee members discussed communications strategies to avoid message fatigue and to explain why the system may be deployed at some events and not others. A student representative said he had no personal experience with the device but appreciated the briefing.
