The Rules and Open Government Committee opened its first meeting of 2025, approved the agenda for the Jan. 14 meeting — which included a 9:30 a.m. closed session and a 1:30 p.m. regular session and a canceled evening session — and approved a four-item consent calendar, the committee said.
The action came after a roll call in which Kemi, Foley and Cohen were recorded present. A motion to approve the agenda, including an ad sheet, was moved and seconded and carried by a 3-0 vote. Committee members then approved the consent calendar, which contained four items; that motion also carried 3-0. Committee members reported no public comment during the meeting.
Agenda materials noted that consent items run from page 5 through page 12 and that agenda section 3 includes item 3.3, an audit on neighborhood blight programs, and item 3.4, legislative priorities for 2025 and the fall intergovernmental relations (IGR) report.
