At the start of the regular City Council meeting, a staff member read a list of cases described as existing litigation, with the following citations as read into the record: "Nigerian versus City of Glendale, LASC case number 24STCP021 1, claim of Najarian number 25-9; Annabelle Ajanyan versus City of Glendale, LISC case number BC 7 20314; O'Ganyan versus City of Glendale, LISC case number 23gdcv008 64; and United States v. ITT Industries et al., U. S. DC case number 2:99 00552." The speaker identified these items as existing litigation.
A staff speaker told Mayor Sautran and the council that the body anticipated reporting out on items 1C and 1D following the closed session. A council member identified as John stated he would recuse himself from matter 1A.
Council members present were recorded as Brautman, Barb Payton, Kazakian, Nadjarian and Mayor Sautran. The council recessed to closed session; no substantive discussion or settlement action was disclosed in the public record ahead of the closed session.
