Northland Cares to open specialty HIV/STI clinic in Prescott Valley, staff says

Northland Cares announced it is relocating its HIV/STI specialty clinic to Prescott Valley and expects to begin services in early February pending licensing approval.
John Duncan, development coordinator for Northland Cares, told the Prescott Valley Town Council the nonprofit is moving its specialty HIV and sexually transmitted infection clinic from Prescott to Prescott Valley.
"Our new address will be 3188 North Windsong Drive, Suite A, Prescott Valley, Arizona," Duncan said. He described Northland Cares as a specialty medical clinic that provides testing and treatment for HIV, chronic hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections; the organization also offers behavioral health, case management, housing support and outreach services funded in part through Ryan White and CDC prevention grants.
Duncan said the clinic expects to begin services on Feb. 3, pending approval of outpatient medical licensing at the new facility. "We are thrilled to join the Prescott Valley community and look forward to serving and collaborating with you all," he said.
No council action was required for the announcement. Duncan said staff would follow up by providing contact information to the council and staff after the meeting.
