Olga Flores, identified in the meeting as a resident, used the Jan. 23 public‑comment period to ask the council to investigate persistent late‑night noise near the Extra Trailway neighborhood.
Flores described repeated loud bass music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights that she said disturbs nearby residents. “Sometimes they are very courteous … they will lower it. The a‑cronym, it goes back up,” she said, adding that the sound sometimes stays within the city’s measured decibel limits but still affects neighbors.
Flores asked the council to “look into” the situation. The council confirmed the item was a public comment and did not take action during the meeting; Flores was among speakers who used the three‑minute public comment allowance.
