Mahoning County commissioners approve routine agenda items, contracts and funding for law-enforcement task force

The Mahoning County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the consent agenda and a series of contracts, travel authorizations and funding allocations during its Jan. 23 meeting in the Hearing Room.

The approvals covered routine business — minutes and bills — and a set of departmental contracts and resolutions, including awards for wastewater services, agreements to fund a local law-enforcement task fund and an employee assistance program for county employees.

Commissioners approved the minutes of the Jan. 16 meeting and payment of bills, then moved through advertised bids, travel authorizations, departmental agreements and contract change orders.
