Commission approves minutes, city manager recommendations and two Sister Cities appointments; second reading held on alley vacation ordinance

The Dayton City Commission on Jan. 22 approved routine business, confirmed two board appointments and took a second reading on an alley vacation ordinance.

The commission voted to approve the minutes from the Jan. 15 meeting and to accept the city manager's recommendations as presented. Both actions were moved and seconded and the commission recorded "aye" for approval.

The commission also moved to appoint Steven Solomon and Adam Graham to the Sister Cities Committee for terms ending Dec. 31, 2028. The motion to appoint was made by "Mister Joseph" and seconded; the clerk recorded the vote as all in favor.
