Idaho House files more than a dozen bills, approves journal and adjourns to Jan. 27

BOISE — The Idaho House of Representatives on Jan. 24, 2025, approved the journal from the prior legislative day, received several committee reports that printed or referred more than a dozen House bills to committees for consideration and adjourned until 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27.

The House clerk reported 50 members present and 20 absent and excused at the start of the session, establishing a quorum to do business. The chamber approved the journal of the 18th legislative day on a motion moved by Representative Skog and seconded by Representative Gannon; the motion passed on a voice vote.

Committee reports listed a series of measures for printing and referral. Among those announced: House Joint Memorial 2 and House Resolution 1; House Bills 40–45 were reported by the Rules and Administration Committee for printing and referral. The Resources and Conservation Committee reported House Bill 15 and recommended it be filed for second reading.
