Council backs Ohio Municipal League challenge to AT&T tariff filing at PUCO

Council voted to suspend the rules and adopt the ordinance as an emergency measure so the city’s position could be registered promptly with PUCO. The vote was recorded by roll call and the ordinance passed.
The ordinance directs city staff to join the Ohio Municipal League’s filing at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and to support the league’s challenge to AT&T’s tariff application.
