North Penn board appoints Tara B.G. Houser as chief financial officer

The North Penn School District board approved the appointment of Tara B.G. Houser to the position of chief financial officer on Jan. 23.
Superintendent Dr. Bauer recommended the appointment and said the employment agreement is on file with the district’s human resources office. The board voted to approve the appointment; the motion passed with an affirmative voice vote.
The contract term approved by the board runs from on or before June 1, 2025, through June 30, 2029. Board members expressed congratulations and said they look forward to having the new CFO on board during an upcoming major facilities project.
