Court adds United Concordia payroll item, discusses $20,000 CoreHealth overpayment and moves to closed session on Motorola security solutions

Matt, a county payroll/accounts staff member, told the court that the United Concordia bill was added to the payroll file this morning. "This morning, we added the United Concordia bill to the payroll file," Matt said.

Later in the meeting a county accounts-payable staffer reported an overpayment to CoreHealth "in the tune of about $20,000," and said the amount will be credited on the next billing cycle or appear as a credit on the appropriate payables list. "We had overpaid CoreHealth last week and in the tune of about $20,000, and it will come off our next billing," the staffer said.

Officials also reviewed other regular bills, including references to a quarterly state cost report (a line cited at roughly $187,000) and LPPF-related transfers to the state. Staff noted the county typically retains a modest administrative fee (discussed as about $20,000 in one remark) and that legislative review of those fees is ongoing.

At the close of the public agenda, the court voted to move into closed session to discuss Motorola Solutions on security solutions.
