The board also voted to accept the consent calendar (with one amended column on the certificated seniority list), to authorize district “openers” for the 2024–25 contract negotiations with CSCA and WDEA, and to accept the Williams Quarterly Report required by Education Code for the period Oct.–Dec. 2024. The board approved a locally developed ethnic-studies course aligned to the state model curriculum’s four core focal areas and directed staff to submit the course to UC Doorways for A–G consideration.
