Board approves agenda, consent items and adopts FY26 warning; vote on warning passed with one dissent
Summary

The Barre Unified Union School District #97 board took three formal actions during the meeting: approval of the meeting agenda; approval of the consent agenda; and adoption of the FY26 warning for the district vote.
The chair called for a motion to approve the agenda. "Is there a motion to approve the agenda as presented?" a board member asked; the motion was made by Alice and seconded by Nancy. The board voted in favor and the agenda was approved.
The consent agenda (including January 8 and January 15, 2025 minutes and warrant approvals for January 9 and January 15, 2025) was moved by Garrett and seconded by Nancy and passed by the board without recorded opposition.
The board then considered the FY26 warning for the district vote. A motion to approve the FY26 warning was made by Garrett and seconded by Alice. The motion passed; the meeting record notes one dissenting vote from Trustee Terry.
