The Aransas County Commissioners Court approved accounts payable, which included four checks and several payroll- and grant-related payments. Staff told the court there were two checks related to Pathways and two checks processed through the Lone Star branch for a vehicle purchase and an X-ray unit intended for operations.
A staff member described the equipment as a vehicle and an X-ray device capable of inspecting gas tanks. "...that X-ray is paid through that grant," a staff member said. Staff said the items were placed before the court so payments could be processed before next week.
The court approved the accounts payable by voice vote; commissioners recorded their ayes.
The county clerk and accounting staff will process the checks and ensure grant reimbursements as appropriate, staff said.
