Staff said the cap mentioned in discussion appeared in the vendor form and was in the range of roughly $15,000 to $20,000, smaller than the overall statewide subscription pool.
"It's a limited liability clause that limits to only, what we've paid in basically for the subscription... they're only limited to... each individual client," a county staff member said during the discussion.
The court approved the authorization by voice vote; staff said this action was a formality necessary to complete the vendor's renewal process under the state contract.
No specific change to the county's recurring budget for software was described in the meeting record; staff characterized the vote as completing a vendor-required formality to finish the renewal.
