Commissioners approve $12,500 CBRE appraisal under GLO contract for property purchase

Staff said there are two main deliverables required before the county will be funded to purchase the property; the appraisal is one of those deliverables. The county selected CBRE through its procurement process and negotiated the contract, staff said. "We selected CBRE as through our procurement process and negotiated the contract, and they are we're excited to get started," a procurement staff member said.
The contract number was added to the record during the meeting; staff apologized for omitting it from the printed packet earlier. The court approved the contract by voice vote.
County staff said the appraisal cost will be reimbursed through the GLO grant once the deliverables are completed.
