Laurie (development services) told the board that building inspectors reviewed plans for the Baldwinville School project and that no work would start until closing; she said plans discussed dates in late February to early March for construction to begin. Her office reported 66 building permits from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, with permit values cited collectively as $23,964,000; Laurie said permit fees include the Baldwinville School project and that the bulk of the recent work was upgrades (stoves, mini‑splits) rather than new single‑family construction.
