Council approves software payment, board appointments and a final plat in consent actions

The Liberty Lake City Council used its regular agenda to approve several administrative and consent actions Wednesday, including a software contract payment, a board appointment and a development final plat.

ResourceX software payment: The council approved an annual payment of $57,225 to ResourceX for priority-based budgeting software and associated professional services. The motion passed 5–2. Staff told the council that the contract price includes software and professional services to supplement internal capacity while the city builds expertise.

Library board appointment: The council appointed Jennifer Chase to position 1 of the Liberty Lake Library Board of Trustees. Chase introduced herself at the meeting and summarized her background in education and career-technical education. The appointment passed on a 6–1 vote.

Final plat: The council approved Resolution 25-271, approving the final plat for Hawkstone, Fifth Addition. There were no public comments on that item; the resolution passed unanimously, 7–0.

Regional board appointment: Council also appointed Council member Dunne to represent the city on the STA (Spokane Transit Authority)/regional small-cities board; that appointment passed on a recorded motion with no opposition (7–0).
