The Liberty Lake Community Engagement Commission elected its 2025 leadership during the Jan. 15 meeting, choosing Summer Darrow as chair and Bill Norman as vice chair.
Commissioners nominated Darrow for the chair post; Darrow accepted. The chair vote was recorded as unanimous. For vice chair, commissioners nominated Arlene Fisher Marr and Bill Norman; Norman won the vice-chair vote by raised hands, recorded as 4–1.
Members used the short election sequence to acknowledge the outgoing leadership and the group’s continuity. Several commissioners praised Robin for her prior leadership and the stability she had provided during the commission’s first years.
The commission will begin operating under the new leadership immediately and scheduled routine follow-ups, including the next regular meeting and an item to brief the city council in March.
