House adopts resolution congratulating Missisquoi Valley Union High School Thunderbirds

The resolution names the players and coaches and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Missisquoi Valley Union High School.
The resolution lists players Carrie Campbell, Molly Gagne, Molly Madore, Brooke Rainville, Sierra Reynolds, Lizzie Bordeaux, Kirby King, Josie McGuire, Kaylee Renaudette, Abigail Wilcox, Liana Fournier, Addison Gates, Avery Goiette, Eddie Longway, Brooke Pilben, Jaden Le Pen and Ava Howe. It also names head coach Bill Sheets, assistant coaches Megan Raul, Connie Sheets and Emily Bordeaux, and team managers Alexis Bayor and Kyle Perkins.
Member from Swanton, a state representative, introduced the team in the chamber and invited colleagues to welcome the players and coaches. The resolution was read on the floor as an item adopted pursuant to the consent calendar. The Secretary of State is to send a copy of the adopted resolution to Missisquoi Valley Union High School.
Members who welcomed the team noted the players come from Highgate, Alburg, Swanton and Franklin and celebrated the team’s extra-inning victory that secured the Division I crown.
