Facilities staff member Mr. Hicks told the board the district commissioned a 77-page roof report in 2023 showing widespread shingle deterioration and areas graded at the lowest condition levels. “If we made a metal roof on top of the highest point and didn't do the parts below, we'd have a lot bigger problem come next winter,” Hicks said, urging a long-term solution.
