Council pulls PG&E grazing-ground agreement from tonight’s agenda, schedules item for Feb. 4

At the start of its Jan. 21 meeting the Angels Camp City Council voted to approve the agenda after Councilmember Steve requested that item 9b be pulled for further work.
Item 9b was described in the meeting as an agreement between the City of Angels Camp and Pacific Gas & Electric Co. for PG&E’s use of some grazing ground. Councilmember Steve said he had received new information just before the meeting and was not comfortable proceeding and asked that the item be postponed to the next meeting.
Mayor (name not specified in transcript) called for the motion to approve the agenda “as amended,” the council voted and the amended agenda passed. Steve told PG&E representatives in the audience that staff expected to return the item to the Feb. 4 agenda so the council could consider it with additional information.
Trevor Littner, who identified himself as a PG&E land-department employee, and Justin Norwood from PG&E’s construction group were in the audience when the item was pulled; Littner asked whether he should expect to appear on Feb. 4, and Steve replied that he should.
