The measures were handled at the start of the meeting. A motion to approve the Nov. 14, 2024, regular business meeting minutes was made and seconded and the motion carried. Commissioners then moved to keep Kelly Bugg as chair and to nominate Nick Hamden as vice chair; both motions carried on voice votes of “Aye.” The commission then voted to accept the draft 2025 meeting calendar as presented.
The meeting record shows no roll-call tally attached to the votes; the approvals were made by motion, second and voice vote during the meeting. Commissioners present discussed the meeting calendar briefly; one commissioner noted it follows the same monthly pattern as the previous year (fourth Thursday, same November slot) and said it “looks good.”
The commission also discussed an updated registry map and the best ways to distribute it to the public, including posting a PDF on the city website and placing a printed version in a storefront on Pioneer Way. Staff said printed copies are relatively expensive and recommended the electronic PDF for broad distribution.
Looking ahead, the commission set its next scheduled meeting for March 27, 2025.
