Clerk Audrey Quarles told attendees that the statements would be distributed before the evening hearing and that the board would reconvene in the same chamber at 5 p.m. to consider the proposed rate change. No action was taken on the rates during the 9 a.m. session; the matter was listed as a reconvened item for the evening session.
