Committee members confirmed the state is the grant provider; staff clarified the grant pays for the solar panels and the city is responsible for preparing the roof. The procurement schedule and the separate contracting for roof and solar were explained: roofing work is already priced and the solar installation will proceed after bids are evaluated.
No formal committee action was required at the update; staff will return through the normal contract award process after bidding.
